Design and direction of the new Healthy Nibbles vending machines rolled out across Transport for Londons’ main thoroughfares, including underground, bus and rail stations. The existing B2B brand identity was evolved to connect with a consumer audience, bringing with it a lighter tone of voice and visual aesthetic.
We created a new visual system, adapting the old Healthy Nibbles style to a consumer audience. This system brought in brighter colours, accessible typography, and expressive product photography to help promote fast, healthy food.
We used bright, expressive imagery to communicate the products, juxtaposing the raw ingredients with a joyfully simple background. We then used these images across various applications to build a coherent brand language that felt joyful and optimistic.
The vending machines were made up of five individual panels, each playing a part in communicating the brand USPs.
